LEGAL WORK EXPERIENCE: Since 1976, the partnership has
been engaged in a general practice, with emphasis in
business law, real property law, family law, wills,
trusts, estate probate, personal injury and criminal
defense. The business law practice has included forming,
purchasing and selling corporations, partnerships,
limited liability entities and sole proprietorships. The
real property law practice has included the purchase and
sale of real property, prosecuting and defending
foreclosures and misrepresentation cases and litigation
of real property interests such as adverse possession
rights. The family law practice has included dissolution
of marriage, guardianships, adoptions, spousal and child
support modification proceedings and restraining order
matters. Preparation of wills and trusts has comprised a
significant part of the partnership business since its
inception. Probate of estates and processing small
estates has likewise been a consistent part of the
general practice. Personal injury cases handled by
Ouderkirk & Hollen include automobile collisions, slip
and fall, product liability, and other negligent
injuries to persons and property. Each partner has
handled hundreds of felony and misdemeanor criminal
cases. In addition to these specific areas of law, the
partners have handled a variety of other legal matters,
including municipal representation, labor and employment
cases, Chapter 7 bankruptcies and land use issues.

Lincoln County bar Association.
CIVIC INVOLVEMENT: Pacific Communities Health District
Foundation Board of Directors; Newport Lions Club.
BIOGRAPHICAL: Jeff Hollen was born a Newport resident in
1950 and has remained a resident of Newport since his
birth. He graduated from Newport High School in 1969,
and began college that year at Willamette University in
Salem, Oregon. He graduated from Willamette in 1973 with
a bachelor degree and three years later graduated from
the University of Oregon School of Law. Upon graduating
from law school, Jeff returned to Newport to become
partner in Ouderkirk & Hollen. The partnership was
joined by former Circuit Court Judge Eugene K.
Richardson, in 1977, and the name changed to Richardson,
Ouderkirk & Hollen until Mr. Richardson's retirement
from the partnership in 1992, upon which the name
reverted to the original Ouderkirk & Hollen.
